Call for Abstracts for the 2022 SWFS Conference
Abstract deadline for the 2022 SWFS conference to be held in Ashland, Oregon is AUGUST 19. This year we are taking submissions for both oral presentations and poster presentations via an electronic form found here. The body of the abstract should be no more than 250 words Please see the SWFS website for more information. Contact Dyan Straughan (Dyan_Straughan@fws.gov) for any abstract related questions. We hope to see you in Ashland October 30th through November 4th, 2022.
SWFS 2022 Bob Anderson Student Scholarship Application. This scholarship is awarded to two college students who are studying wildlife forensic science or a related science field. The Scholarship covers the cost of registration and one banquet ticket plus $500 to help with travel. Consideration will be given to past academic performance, the application, essay, and presentation abstract. A Selection Committee will review the application and select the two applications that are most qualified. Chosen applicants are required to give a 10-15 minute presentation on their presentation abstract topic at the Society for Wildlife Forensic Science Meeting. Applications and Abstracts are both due AUGUST 19!
