Bid on a Commissioner’s License for the Wyoming 2013 Hunting Season

Update:
Congratulations to Wagonhound Outfitters who purchased the Wyoming Commissioner’s License with the winning bid!
--
The Society for Wildlife Forensic Science is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for Sportsmen to hunt elk, deer or pronghorn in the great State of Wyoming while also supporting the fight to keep wildlife forensics alive and well. Commissioner Lindzey and Commissioner Price of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department have each generously donated a "Commissioner’s License" to assist the Society with the work being done to address the questions of standardization and certification of wildlife forensic practitioners. The license winners can hunt elk, deer or pronghorn in any region or hunt area in the state (with the exception of the National Parks which have special regulations, please see the Wyoming Game and Fish web site for additional information). The species and hunt area must be declared at the time of application. Holders of Commissioner Complimentary licenses shall be exempt from the provisions limiting the number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year.

Sealed bids or bids by email will be accepted until 5pm MST on April 15, 2013. Send bids to: Society for Wildlife Forensic Science C/O Dee Dee Hawk, President, 703 Beaufort St., Laramie, WY 82072 or email bids to 97harleygirl@gmail.com. The minimum bid for each license is $7,000, and the first confirmed bid(s) of $9,500 USD will win the license immediately (or both licenses can purchased together for $18,000). The winner(s) must purchase the appropriate license(s) from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department within 10 days of notification. Please include complete contact information with all bids. Proceeds will benefit continued development and improvements in the field of wildlife forensic science. This is critical for the successful management of many significant social and conservation issues related to the illegal wildlife trade and wildlife law enforcement. If you have any questions, please contact Dee Dee Hawk at (307) 761-1124.
